BS In Electrical Engineering
Our electrical engineers are changing the way we interact with the world from computer circuitry, optics, and power systems to putting smart electronics in our cars and wearable devices. Our faculty have been highlighted in many news outlets, including The Wall Street Journal, Wired, CNET, IEEE Spectrum, Gizmag, Popular Science, and the MIT News Office. They also have been featured on television such as CNN, The Discovery Channel, FOX News, and KSL, as well as Scientific Reports.
Electrical Engineering (EE) is the application of the laws of physics governing electricity, magnetism, and light to develop products and services to improve life on earth. The manufacturing process for almost all products involves the use of EE principles. It is one of the driving forces that power the high-tech industry and permeates almost every aspect of our modern life.
